It's time to tell our stories!
Fitzy Unearthed is a Youtube Channel dedicated to preserving and showcasing all the amazing imagery & creative works from the Fitzgerald Coast Biosphere. We collaborate with professionals to bring people living regionally, opportunities to upskill in storytelling through videography, photography and audio.
Upcoming workshops are promoted under the Community tab under CRC Workshops and Events. Workshops are mostly centered around smartphone technology and free/low cost apps and software which makes learning more accesible.
The channel is community driven, crowd-sourced living archive and ‘inclusivity’ is at the very heart of the initiative. Local creatives and content producers contribute to the channel. Wellness: Create & Connect 2022
Original plans for our 2022 Wellness Weekender from a 2 day event to a jam-packed 1 day event with various workshops and activities to choose from, and the addition of a Friday night Full Moon Bush Walk & Dreamtime Stories, picnic and live music to kick start the weekend.
Some tried their hand at painting with the talented Kate Martin, others Pottery with Dunnart Studio’s Cat Tink and some tried the benefits of creative thinking with Erica Jacobson. It was a day where you tried your hand at something new, connected with old friends and made new ones and we thank all our presenters who travelled to help us create another amazing Wellness Weekender!

Wellness Weekender 2021
The 2021 Wellness Weekender was two days of art workshops, experiences, entertainment, mental, nutritional and financial well-being classes, exercise and more. Organised by the Ravensthorpe Community Resource Centre with additional programming by Rave About Arts. With over 45 participants and 23 sessions, ticketholders booked the sessions that interested them most.
Craft sessions included, Weekend nourished the mind, body and soul writing, creativity, lino printing, singing, pottery by hand and on the wheel and each session finished with an eclectic and enthusiastic range of – in some cases first time – artworks.
